Pedal For Kids – Jump Start Twitter Party! #JSPedal2014

Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged kids participate in organized sport and recreation. Jumpstart does some amazing things by helping to cover registration fees, equipment and/or transportation costs for these children who other wise would not get to participate.

Since it’s inception in 2005, Canadian Tire Jumpstart has given more than 780,000 kids across Canada the chance to play. Jumpstart is dedicated to removing financial barriers, so children can participate in organized sport and recreation.

This year, from July 13 to July 17th, Canadian Tire Dealers, corporate employees across the enterprise and friends of the corporation will complete a  bike ride from Ottawa to Quebec City to help kids in your community.  They will Pedal For Kids!

Follow the link to the new Pedal for Kids page for more information about the ride!

Then join us this Thursday Sept 4th from 9:30 PM EST. to 10:30 PM EST. as we chat about Pedal for Kids, bikes, and bike safety.  We will  be giving away some pretty amazing prizes!!  Think Schwinn Accessory packs  comprised of a Helmet, Light, Small Bike Bag & Water bottle valued at $100.00,  and a Grand Prize of a Schwinn Firewire 4.0 Mountain Bike valued at $ 599.99!! Woot!
