In our house weekday mornings are often hectic and rushed. Breakfast is all too often something quick and nutritious
most of the time but one thing it is not, is pretty! So when Sunday mornings roll around one of our favourite family traditions is to slow down, brew a big old pot of coffee and get our cook on. No brunch in our house is complete with bacon, eggs and Dempster’s Bagels stacked high and made to each family members very specific specifications.
Dear daughter one is a purist. Her Dempster’s Bagel is plain. Toasted. If she is feeling fancy a wee bit of Herb and Garlic Cream Cheese.
Daughter two is all about a bagel toasted twice for extra crunch factor and slathered in as much peanut butter as it will hold. Hmmm melted into all those crevices, who can blame her?
Hubby’s goal is to see how much stuff he stack on his Dempster’s Bagel! He takes that little ring of goodness adds butter, cheese, bacon, egg and more cheese. It is one messy masterpiece!
Me. I’m a BBLT girl. Um that Bagel, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato.
