Don’t judge me. I am in love. You see, I have a problem. With germs. Not in a I have to wear a mask and walk around with rubber gloves in my back pocket kind of way, but in a …I love me some super germ killer cleaners and my girls know first rule when they walk in the house is “Wash your hands”. So, Yes I love my girls, true I adore my Hubby, we all know I have a bit of an addiction to coffee, but my newest crush, my latest dream come true is …..
the New LYSOL® Healthy Touch® No-Touch Hand Soap System.
Sigh. She looks like stainless steel.
Her new fragrance, Aloe Vera & Vitamin E with Moisturizers. Smells kind of cocoa buttery to me. Love it.
I already owned the original LYSOL® Healthy Touch® No Touch System. This one is just a different kind of pretty. Nothing beats being able to take those germy chicken or goo covered hands, stand near the sink and let the No Touch System automatically sense and then dispense just the right amount of soap! It is nothing short of fabulous, and according to the Lysol website the antibacterial hand soap kills 99.9% of bacteria on hands. I have put one in my girls bathroom to encourage them to wash more regularly and with an adequate amount of soap. Besides, it’s fun! The next bathroom to get the New LYSOL® Healthy Touch® No-Touch Hand Soap System will be the Guest Bath. Who wants to share germs with the neighbours and the extra kids that always seem to be hanging around right? Brilliant.
The pretty little starter kit includes a dispenser, one hand soap refill, and four AA batteries.
Need another reason to fall in love with Lysol?

I let my kids draw on a picture on their hands (with washable markers of course, I'm not crazy). This lathers up some colourful suds when it is time to wash. We sing our ABC's twice to make sure we have lathered and rinsed for a good amount of time.

You got me with "germy chicken hands"!!
So far it's pretty simple with my 2 year old in regards to hand washing...she HATES having dirty hands, so she ALWAYS asks to clean them!! Not much prompting required, as of yet!! :)
I follow you publicly!!
I am also a Facebook Fan!! :)
One time when we were visiting a science museum they had some light thingy that showed the germs on your hands. I was horrified when my boys put their hands in it! Ever since then, I just remind them about that day when they start to slack off on washing their hands.

My son is only 13 months so I haven't had to nag or plead yet since I'm the one washing him. He does clap his hands and get excited though (probably because he knows it's time to play after, haha)

I'm not entering (USA) but it sounds like a great item.
I 'encourage' my son to wash his hands by hanging onto his squirmy toddler body for dear life as I grab some soap and lather him up. I guess the encouagement part really only happens at the rinse cycle of the hand-washing process. I turn on the water and he is usually more than happy to rinse off what Mommy did!

Eversince my son rafael was small, Ive always trained him to always wash his hands. We never had any problem since then and until now that he's already 4. i suggest we train our kids at a very young age so that helps prevent them from having diseases :)

My son is really good with washing his hands so I have never had to try and convince him or plead with him to do it. I guess I instilled the importance early on with him and it stuck

I am a constant nag when it come to washing hands! My son loves the water and is young enough still that he thinks its play time... but my Hubby?! He works construction (and gets very dirty). I was reminding him everyday when our son was an infant! Now, he just walks straight to the sink when he gets home from work. Im sure Ill be the same way with DS. I do like the idea of singing songs of encouragement to make it a little more fun! Thanks for the chance

When my children were young I got them to wash by buying little soaps in the shape of animals. They loved to wash with the turtle, whale, starfish, teddy bear and all the other animal shapes.
