Turkey Hangover

There are too many people in this house!

Getting ready for Christmas makes me feel like this!

I’ve eaten turkey for 4 days in a row.  It’s official, that is too much turkey.

I’ve consumed too much chocolate. Wait.  Not possible.

I hugged our family close, and know I am blessed to have them near.

We did Cocktails with Christmas gifts, cause that’s how we roll.  Rejoiced over Tassimo’s, jewellery, purses and sweaters that didn’t fit.  Ahhh, now the joy of exchanging ill fitting clothes at the jam packed mall shall be experienced.

We laughed till we cried, and ate until we felt sick.  Seriously.

I don’t know if my stretchy pants will make it till New Years.  I am once again thankful for Lulu Lemon’s stomach sucking butt lifting magic!

Six more gluttonous days, then the Christmas Holiday is over and I have to stop eating chocolate and croissant for breakfast. Or at least stop bragging that’s what I had for breakfast.

Hope Santa found you all and you are enjoying your Christmas break as much as I am!  See you soon.

  1. I am so glad you’re having a wonderful Christmas break! Me? I’ve had flu and I’ve been in bed as sick as a dog since Christmas Day afternoon. I guess that’s one way of not putting too much weight on over the holidays!

Enjoy the rest of your break!

  2. I keep telling myself that I’ll stop eating this week too. I feel your pain.

  3. You know, I feel about the same way right about now.

  4. hi, modern mom!
    happy new year!

that’s the “glory” of holidays! being with family is the best.

but turkey for 4 days? oh no!

  7. Ah, yes, the New Year’s resolution diet. Only a few more days to eat all the chocolate and goodies that we plan to give up. Enjoy!

  8. The joy and the gluttony…yep, it is almost over!!!!

  9. Eating chocolate for breakfast is not acceptable? That’s news to me and my fat thighs 😉

  10. HA! I should tell you about how my MIL to be served us left over turkey ON Christmas! But I’ll spare you the sad details. Thank goodness I brought the ham!

  11. Me too. Ate and drank way too much as usual. My stomach is not happy with me, but so worth it! 🙂

Glad you had a nice Christmas.

  12. Sounds like a very successful Christmas!

  13. I’ve banned Turkey from all our Christmas meals for that exact reason. I’m usually still sick of it from Thanksgiving! We had beef tenderloin…it was to die for.

Glad you had a great holiday! Happy New Year!

  14. Merry Christmas to you too and Happy New Year!

  15. I am so glad you had a wonderful Christmas, I hope you enjoy the rest of your holidays with your family as we roll into 2011!!

P.s Gotta love those high lu lu lemon pants that work like magic 🙂

  16. I keep telling myself that I can continue to eat through the fridge and pantry as long as it doesn’t hit Jan 1! Ha!

  17. Love Christmas breaks! Glad you are having a good one!

(I just did my first vlog eeeeek)

  18. I seriously need a pair of those magic pants.

  19. I told myself today I will stop picking chips and wine today, but it’s only noon so let’s see how it goes 🙂 Glad you are having a wonderful break.
Everyone is out of control, laughing, playing and eating at my house..it’s the holidays, that’s all we can do!

  20. Had to return this week if only to avoid all the leftovers that are calling my name from the fridge.

  21. Sounds like your having a wonderful time. We have so much food in the house and it keeps calling my name. Happy New Year!

  22. Wow! Hang in there! It will be over soon. I’m feeling you on the eating too much too.

  23. It sounds like you’ve been having a great holiday season!!

  24. aah, but valentine’s day is right around the corner!

hope you have a wonderful new year!

  25. I love your photo:-) so, what are you having for new year?

  26. We practically bypassed Turkey this year…ended up only having it two times [thank GOD!] Yep. My pants don’t fit and I’m tired of extended family. Hope Santa was good to you. Enjoy the rest of your break!!

  27. Cocktails with present opening? I like it, though I doubt it would go well at 6:30 am (the time we open presents)! Sounds like a fun Christmas.

  28. Now that sounds like the perfect holiday to me!!! Mmmm!! Happy New Year!

  29. Merry christmas modern mom! enjoy the rest of your holidays :):):):)!!! xoxox

  33. Cocktails with Christmas presents sounds DIVINE!!!!

    Happy New Years MM!!!

  34. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Sounds like you had a blast. Spending time with friends and family is the best during the holidays. I hear you on the stretchy pants. I’ve been wearing mine just about every day lol!

  35. Sounds like a perfect Christmas to me! We only had turkey once this year, so I a little jealous that you had it 4 times this week, but I’d probably be sick of it by now, too. Wishing you a Happy New Year & all the best in 2011:)

  36. i hope you have a wonderful and fabulous happy new year!!!!

  39. I’m with you: what would I do without my Lulus!
Glad you had such a terrific time though.
And ps: even making that face you’re still beautiful…UGH! I have to pose just so, and give this certain side, and look a certain way, or else my pics don’t get published nowhere!
