When I’m carrying around that extra 5 pounds…err Okay 8 pounds, my boobs look great. I actually have boobs! Why when you drop a couple of pounds are the boobs always the first to go?
When I am eating whatever I want I have convinced myself I sleep better. Why? Cause I have had my “tensies”. You know…10ses I don’t know how to spell it, but I know what it is. That fabulous meal of snackage between dinner and breakfast. Keeps the tummy full all through the night and I sleep like a baby.
If I say “NO to Diets” then I can say “YES” to Chocolate Cake, Specialty Coffees, Pasta, Potatoes and Popcorn. These things make me happy. It’s a simple joy.
Not dieting. Not weighing myself. Saving much unneeded wear and tear on that fairly fancy new scale that mocks me from the bathroom floor. That is kind of like “conserving” right? So I am doing right by the environment.
The number 1 reason to Say “No to Diets”. This Sassy Mamma, becomes a candy craving carb deprived diva, and then it is all too easy to unleash the cranky sourpuss that dwells beneath!
Ahh, I think that is enough justification for today.
Healthy eating can wait one more week. At least until I eat all the Easter Candy that is coming our way!

The boob thing drives me up the wall. Why can't I be thin *and* have a chest??? I guess that's why we see so many skeletons with fake-melon-boobs on Survivor.

If I had eight extra pounds, it would be very helpful to the boobs, too, but everything else would be totally distroyed!

I just noticed the thing with the boobs today. I was lying in bed and I saw that I have none. Like really...none. I have nipples. That's it.

I like this post. A lot. It's true for me, too, I'm much happier and have fewer cravings when I'm not trying to really watch what I eat. And so, for today, things have been justified!
Diets aren't fun and right now I'm all about the fun! It can wait another week for sure!
I wish I could be in your mindset right now. I'm not eating carbs, 4 weeks, this is my 5th week now - and it's so agonizingly hard. Sometimes, it's great, easy, especially when I see the results, but this past weekend I ate carbs to my hearts content... and today is hurting, going back to no-carbs. And I'm working out lots. I just want to lose 10-15 more pounds... and it's sooo FREAKING HARD! ARGH! Anyway. SIGH! I wish I could eat whatever I want! For me it's like, one extreme or the other. That is my number one problem!!!!
You are so not alone! The other day I made the mistake at turning around in the bathroom mirror. I don't recmmend it. But if you do, don't shake! It's bad, so very bad.

That Easter candy is evil! My husband and I already went through an entire package of Peanut Butter Crunch eggs.
I have found that eating healthier means i have to eat more than three meals a day. i have put myself on the healthy choice diet and so far everything i have tried i s good. but i understand were your coming form eating healthy makes you miss the good junk food horribly.
These are great reasons to say no to dieting! It's true, my bust is first to slim down when I lose weight.
I know the boobs lose their swelling right away, why doesn't it happen my ass I'd love to know?
I don't diet, I just eat less and if I fit into my clothes that is how I weigh myself!
I fit, but there is a roll of something popping out over the top of my pants and it is driving me NUTS!!!

You know I totally agree with you. Diets have made me gain too much weight over the years....aren't they supposed to work the other way around?? Tell me no chocolate and I am one mean mama!
It seems like each year the Holidays get closer together and we can't seem to find the time in between when we can diet!

I agree about the boob thing. It's enough to make me think about not dieting after the baby is born. My boobs would be fabulous.
I've also gotta have that bedtime snack- otherwise I'm awake and starving in the middle of the night, and end up in the kitchen at for 3am-ses :)

I guess it helps if one is genetically gifted... I've never had to diet, thankfully - keeping active and eating what you want (but in moderation) sure makes a life sweet!
But if I got fat from slow metabolism or some kind of disorder, then I would no doubt think about cutting back on some stuff.

The absolute worse time to diet is between Thanksgiving and Easter! There is no chance with all of that temptation! Someone should have spead these holidays out more evenly!! Peggy

Yup. Spot on about the bobbies shrinking. Me too. My B cup bras are now cavernous (but maybe that more about having kids and nursing than weight loss, sigh) and they echo this refrain..."what happened to our inhabitants???"
When I DO lose weight, the girls down-size even more. Ass just continues ambling happily along.
My healthy eating is waiting another week too...to maybe two.

I have said no to diets...my friend who is a model says you shouldn't diet, just eat right and then you can splurge now and then...I'd like to think its true, but so far it ain't working.

Can you start a campagine?! I'll join. I find anyways I eat worse when on a diet because I KNOW I can't have things and that makes me want them all the more...and to be honest, my will power is moot.
I sure do hear ya. I hate healthy eating because the good stuff tastes good but is bad for you, and the healthy stuff is good for you but tastes blah.
