I'm often amazed and confused by the bizarre happenings behind the closed and competitive doors of the typical suburban home. The following is a place to share my thoughts and reflections on daily life as I try to navigate this crazy and wonderful world.
A mother, a wife, a good friend, a person still trying to find peace and enjoy every day. A good Canadian girl addicted to popcorn, chocolate and coffee. Quite certain there will never be enough hours in the day.

Hi Modern Mom: This is fantastic. I recently lost a friend in a car accident, he was in his 30's, had a wife and toddler. Makes you really think about how short life is, and how you have to focus on living in the present and making the most of every day.
Thanks for stopping in and I will be following your blog, love the concept behind it!!! Cheers, Cameron from Conquer The Monkey
i woke up from my comatose working stiff state last year, decided to do something with my life... got married, bought my first house, moved out of the city, got another dog (3 now!) and opened my dog hotel so i could work from home.
Oh so true!!! And now off the subject.. yet somehow around... if you have time you may want to stop by to check out the exciting news I'm sharing on the blog today! Happy Thursday!
