Welcome!

I'm often amazed and confused by the bizarre happenings behind the closed and competitive doors of the typical suburban home. The following is a place to share my thoughts and reflections on daily life as I try to navigate this crazy and wonderful world.

"The rules: No one really likes rules, do they? I shall make mine simple. Make a cocktail, pick out some of your favorite bloggers. Send this award to 4 of them. Tell them why you think they give good blog. There are SO many fascinating, witty, and fantastic bloggers; let's invite them all to the party.

Or you can just put it on your mantle and watch it sparkle.

And if you think it sassy that I created my own Award, just consider it a grown up and virtual version of a friendship bracelet."

Cute right?

Pop on over to these great great ladies who are some of my newer and yet oh so addictive reads. Please tell them I say Hi!

It is football season for sure. Our almost two year old is still saying "baseball" I told my husband he has to teach her about the sports. Yeah football. Thanks for the kind words today. Congrats to you.

Just happened upon your blog. It is very entertaining. :-) My daughter writes "where a woman shakes her tablecloth", so I appreciate your giving her an award. I'm a new follower.

Aaaaahhhhh...thanks for the Splash Award! I appreciate it so much!! What a wonderful surprise today! Really! Thanks!!

Football was on at my house, too. Or was that yesterday? The days tend to run together during football season...one game after another.
