There was enough cream left for 1 more coffee.
I made muffins with the girls and only ate one!
There was a $20.00 bill in my rain coat.
That stupid train finally moved and I wasn't late to pick up the kids.
The battery for the video camera was charged.
Both daughters were invited to play dates on the same day.
I found the piece of gum in SweetGirls pocket before it went into the washing machine.
That number on the scale went DOWN!
The weather man was wrong and the sun IS shining.
There was enough toilet paper left on the roll that I wasn't forced to choose between drip dry or Glamour Magazine!
Sometimes you just have to take joy in life's little victories!

Hi ModernMom!
Love yr post! For me, one of life's little victories today has been the return of our Followers lists by Blogger!
After all, without them, how would we know who our special blogpals are?!
See you again soon,
xxxLOL LOLA:)
Love this list MM. You have such great writing style. And 20 bones in the raincoat is always a nice surprise! Have a great Monday.
I love the small victories.... ( and the way you wrote about them..)
beware the "Drip Dry"!
loooove those small victories... they make life so sweet!!!
Oh, I love finding money in my coats. Such a nice surprise. Anytime we don't have to air dry or call on the three year old to find us some toilet paper is a good day!
Great post!!! Congrats on the scale victory!
Hurray for small victories! When enough of them happen it can make a day seem so much better.
Yipee!! Life is good!!
Sounds like a helluva day.
I love it...we must strive to find the silver lining here and there!

Hi there, thanks for dropping by my blog today. Sorry that my book giveaway is only open to US residents. I love my Canadian friends too and I appreciate you coming by to leave a comment. Have a wonderful week!
ooh I just found a $5 bill in the washing machine, I know the feeling!
Girl it's like rain on your wedding day, a free ride when you already paid that driver. You know!
I KNOW you are fibbing, I swear, things just don't go that well, come on lady, out with it. At least tell me you drip dried..
I love finding money! Happens so rarely these days because I mostly use my debit card, but once in a while I leave a little cash behind in a jacket pocket- totally makes my day :)
Oh HECK yeah!
yay! all the little straws that didn't break the camels back - good for you :0)
Oooohhhh, I need the scale number to go down..... How does one do that and still eat chocolate?
Great way to start off a Monday!
The last one is my favourite...SO funny!!!
hahahah I LOVE YOUR POSTS! Your so witty! and hilarious!
I think some of those are worth at least mid-level victory status!!
I love finding money in my pocket!!! Excellent. Only thing better is finding a $20 on the ground. And... I stocked up on half and half for coffee in the morning!!
That's the only way to live life!!!
You have had a great day (week)! I don't know what's more exciting, finding the money in the pocket or the gum before putting the clothes in the washing machine!
We need to count our blessings and you just did!
Thanks for the smile!
Definitely need days like that! But all victories are important, no matter how small.
The number going down on the scale is always the BEST!
haha love it :)
LOL! ah yes I love those little victories, they add up to a darn good life!
yey!
HOW TRUE?! Especially when you're having just "one of those days," finding that extra creamer for your coffee can make all of the difference! :)

Now since I'm so not into rules, heh heh, all you have to do is pass them on.
I hate rules. LOL.
LOL - you have to always look on the bright side of life :)
How nice! Every little bit helps make your day better, and the littlest surprises can make the biggest differences. Lucky you!
hooray for small victories!
i still don't have my reading list :(
Definitely! I'm trying to think of any that happened to me today...... Nope! Rained, new front door costing twice what we'd estimated, playdate a disaster, rained, no lemon tarts in supermarket, rained..... Oh well
wonderful post, made me look around and be thankful for the small stuff :)
Hooray for found money!
