Welcome!

I'm often amazed and confused by the bizarre happenings behind the closed and competitive doors of the typical suburban home. The following is a place to share my thoughts and reflections on daily life as I try to navigate this crazy and wonderful world.

Things I Learned Today

*Very few things at the dollar store are actually a dollar.

*I will eat yogurt covered pretzels until I feel sick if for no other reason then to hide the evidence.

*Just because the check out girl can fill my environmentally friendly bag to a whopping weight of 50 lbs does not mean I can carry it.

*Senior Citizens and Toddlers - If either of them tell you they need a washroom. They mean immediately.

*My car can go at least 10 miles further after that little alarm sounds and the dial reaches E! (whew)

*There are some great ice cream bars out there under 100 calories. Thank Goodness, now I can justify eating 2 at a time.

Holy crap, my husband tests how far his car will go every single time he reaces Empty ... it drives me NUTS!!! But that's one of the things I love about him. My anal Ex-husband would have filled up when only half empty!

All that in one day? Do you remember the 5 and dime store? I wonder how long it will take now until they call it the $2.99 store. I can eat myself into a coma with yogurt covered pretzels... truly a weird phenomenan :)

Oh so true, No matter how many bags I take to my market, they want to cram everything into just 3bags. Hello?

You and I have learned some of the same lessons. Except instead of pretzels I have to eat the entire box of doughnuts to hide the evidence. It's a hard job...

I know what you mean about the dollar store. One time I thought I was really cool because I got this 3-pak of scotch tape during Christmas time for of course $1. However, my husband laughed his @$# off when I only had one present wrapped and all the tape was gone!! They were like mini scotch tape or something, I failed to find the humor in it as much as my husband had. Anyway, now that my comment has turned into a post I'll stop now. Oh, thanks for stopping by today and checking out my boy's pic :)

My 3 year old had to go pee really bad in the mall yesterday. We were walking towards the bathrooms, but he had to go NOW - and the doors exiting the mall were right there - so I took him outside and he peed in a bush. I hope no one cared! But there was no other choice! ;) (and I ate an entire bag of Kernals white cheddar popcorn last night, by myself. So there ya go.)
